Here you will find a conglomerate of old and new
illustrations. Some are not that well-proportioned, contrasted properly etc. whereas
others are, but overall, I think all of them have their own unique quality.
This is a detailed fantasy drawing of a dark warrior who
seems to have just come back from pillaging a village or hamlet. His stance and
expression gives off a strong and powerful presence, and the flaming red,
maroon and bronze/metallic color scheme, conveys he is of superiority in a very
malevolent, patronizing manner. Defiantly could be the antagonist of a fantasy
novel.
Compared to the dark warrior, these uncolored illustrations
of 16th century puritans are more affable and palliative to view. I created these characters after reading a well-loved
novel. I often draw beloved characters from books I reread multiple times.
